The University of Larbi Ben M'hidi And "Active devices and Materials Laboratory" organize the first international conference "New materials and active devices" in Oum Al-Bouaghi during the period from 23 to 25 May 2011. The meeting will bring together physicists, chemists and researchers in materials and devices to discuss the latest developments in this fast growing field. The event will offer the opportunity to active researchers in Algerian universities and research centers to discuss their results and establish collaborations and external linkages with international research groups that share similar interest. The conference will include plenary sessions and invited talks by renowned speakers that will give overviews on the research trends and key advances in the field. It is hoped that the conference will inspire and motivate students to pursue studies and research career in the exciting area of materials and devices which is behind major technological developments.

تنظم جامعة العربي بن مهيدي و مخبر العناصر النشطة والمواد أول مؤتمر دولي بعنوان "المواد الجديدة والعناصر النشطة" في أم البواقي خلال الفترة من 23 إلى 25 مايو 2011. وسيضم الاجتماع الفيزيائيين والكيميائيين والباحثين في المواد والأجهزة لمناقشة آخر التطورات في هذا المجال السريع النمو. سيوفر هذا الحدث فرصة للباحثين النشطين في الجامعات الجزائرية ومراكز البحوث لمناقشة نتائجهم البحثية والتعاون وإقامة الصلات الخارجية مع المجموعات البحثية الدولية. وسيتضمن المؤتمر محاضرات عامة يلقيها متحدثون بارزون من شأنها أن تعطي لمحات عامة عن الاتجاهات الرئيسية للبحوث والتقدم في هذا المجال. والأمل معقود على أن المؤتمر سيكون مصدر إلهام وتحفيز للطلاب لمتابعة الدراسات والبحوث المهنية في مجالات المواد والأجهزة التي تعتبر الأساس للتطورات التكنولوجية الرئيسية.
